Project Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead a high-performing team delivering capital and asset improvement initiatives in a natural setting.

  • Manage the strategic delivery of construction projects across national parks.
  • Oversee a geographically dispersed team to deliver high-priority projects, including visitor asset and facility renewals, roads and fire trail improvements, and operational infrastructure enhancements.
  • Ensure excellence in project management, procurement, contract administration, and project governance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align project delivery with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading complex capital works or infrastructure projects.
  • Managing remote teams and driving performance.
  • Expertise in procurement, contract management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • An understanding of asset management principles within a government or environmental context.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management, construction, engineering, or a related field.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in leading capital works or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to manage remote teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
