Leadership Opportunity in Remote Villages

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our team as a Head Chef or Executive Chef. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a remote village environment, managing kitchen operations and leading a team of chefs to deliver exceptional food and dining experiences for residents and guests.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cookery, with experience in managing high-volume kitchen operations and leading teams. They will be responsible for maintaining high standards of HACCP and Food Safety, managing rostering, ordering, and budgeting, and ensuring the overall success of the kitchen team.

About You
  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required, with evidence of completion;
  • You must have the legal right to work in Australia, as sponsorship is not available;
  • Experience in bulk/batch cooking, particularly in DIDO/FIFO environments, is highly desirable;
  • You should have leadership experience supervising chefs and kitchen staff, as well as skills in rostering, ordering, and budgeting;
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug screening, and hold a current Driver's License, is essential.
