Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Blending Operator to join our team at Brenntag Specialities in Melbourne, Australia. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the preparation of raw materials and ingredients for our formulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raw Materials Preparation: Prepare production equipment and raw materials in accordance with standard practices and regulatory frameworks.
  • Formulation and Blending: Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw ingredients, operate blending machines, and ensure high-quality batches are produced.
  • Packaging and Labeling: Package and label finished goods, and complete associated documentation for each new blend.
  • Quality Control: Comply with general safety directions, ensure regular maintenance and cleaning, and adhere to approved Standard of Practice.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Record orders for traceability and dispatch to the Warehouse Team.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in manufacturing, blending, or raw ingredients preparation.
  • Working knowledge and experience in the food industry (raw ingredients) advantageous.
  • A forklift license would be advantageous.
  • Understanding of HACCP and Certificate 2 or 3 in Food Processing would be highly regarded.
