Job Title: Retail Sales Assistant

About the Role

The ideal candidate should have a strong retail sales and customer service focus, with empathy, compassion and a drive to deliver the best outcome.

  • Taking customers enquiries in store and over the phone.
  • Investigating and helping customers problem solve therapy issues.
  • Providing setup, on-going support and equipment to ensure therapy is maintained to a high standard.
  • Fitting customers for masks and recommending the most appropriate one based on training provided.
  • Providing customers with advice on the safe and effective use of medical equipment.
  • Sales of new or additional services over the phone, with follow-up on trials and testing results to ensure sales conversion.
  • Maintaining good condition of the retail premises and displays.
  • Handling payments, balancing float and banking.
  • Accountable for trial and sales stock - managing stock levels and re-ordering as required.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a busy retail or customer service role.
  • A caring and outstanding reception service to our customers.
  • Ability to maintain compassion and remain calm under pressure.
  • A strong customer service focus that always looks for the best outcome for the individual.
  • Strong and adaptable communication skills.
  • An active listener able to find solutions to customer concerns and issues.
  • Healthcare retail experience is preferred, but not necessary as we provide all necessary training.
