About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Violence Advisor to join our Mental Health team at Campus Camps. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and support to our mental health programs in identifying and responding to family violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide family violence expertise and support to our mental health programs
  • Develop and implement trauma-informed care approaches to support consumers who have experienced family violence
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide secondary consultation and capacity building
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation and policy reforms related to family violence and mental health
  • Support the development of policies and procedures to ensure a safe and supportive environment for consumers
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. social work, psychology, nursing)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a mental health setting, with a focus on family violence
  • Proven expertise in trauma-informed care and family violence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
