Role Overview

At Simonds Homes, we're looking for an experienced Sales Estimator to join our team. As a Sales Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate and timely sales estimates relevant to our activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders, variations, and contracts within client-agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain focus on clients' needs, expectations, and desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate and consult with the sales, operations, and construction team to deliver exceptional customer service across all aspects of the home build.

Requirements

  • Residential building industry experience in sales estimating.
  • Tertiary/TAFE qualification in estimating highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the National Construction Code required.
  • Strong analytical skills and the capability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Ability to actively contribute and work collaboratively within a tight-knit team.
  • Capacity to multitask, flexible, and adaptable approach to work.
  • High attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, achieve set targets, and KPIs.
  • Planning/organisational and time management skills.
