Role Overview

The YMCA Brisbane is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Childcare Coordinator to join our team at the Grovely Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.

This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week, where you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators.

As a Childcare Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs that meet the needs of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Development: Develop and implement quality programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Team Management: Manage and support a team of Educators to ensure the delivery of high-quality programs.
  • Compliance and Administration: Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, and undertake administrative tasks as required.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with families, the school community, and other stakeholders to ensure the needs of children are met.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Relevant Qualification: Completed or close to completing a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services).
  • Experience and Skills: Sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a valid First Aid and CPR certification.
