Maternity Care Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Maternity Care Specialist to provide high-quality care to mothers and babies during the birthing process. This is a unique opportunity for a professional with strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive maternity care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal support. They will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and participate in mandatory training programs to maintain current knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, individualized care to patients throughout their pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal journey
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care provided
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery and optimize patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Experience in maternity care, including advanced neonatal resuscitation and ante/post neonatal care
  • IV cannulation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
