Senior School Educator

Role Description:
A senior educator is required to drive school-wide improvements in teaching and learning. This role involves leading and managing staff to enhance curriculum planning, delivery, and professional development.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of improving student outcomes and be able to lead and manage staff performance and development. They will also contribute to policy development and make a significant impact on the achievement of school goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leading the implementation of whole-school improvement initiatives related to the strategic plan and school priorities
- Developing and implementing whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery
- Providing professional development and individual and team development plans for teaching staff
- Managing staff performance and development, including reviewing and evaluating staff
- Demonstrating best practice in teaching
- Developing assessment and reporting policies and practices
- Implementing school operations and policies related to student welfare and discipline
- Leading the development of curriculum in a major learning area and contributing to curriculum development in other areas
- Contributing to overall school leadership and management
- Developing proposals for school council consideration
