Job Overview
RMIT University is seeking a skilled and qualified tutor to teach Marketing courses across a diverse range of specialized domains. The successful candidate will have expertise in teaching marketing communications, consumer behaviour, marketing strategy, digital marketing, marketing analytics, marketing technology, brand strategy, product innovation and development, and customer experience strategy.
About the Role
This is a casual teaching opportunity based at the Melbourne CBD campus, with the possibility of working and/or being based at other campuses of the University or online. The successful candidate will be required to teach students in a variety of marketing courses, using applied marketing theory and industry-engaged learning approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Marketing courses to students, using a range of teaching methods and approaches.
- Develop and deliver course materials, assessments and evaluation tools.
- Provide feedback to students on their performance and progress.
- Engage with students, staff and industry partners to enhance the learning experience.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a relevant tertiary degree and/or extensive project and administrative expertise in a complex tertiary education or similar service environment. You will also need to have a strong ability to engage students positively and constructively, and experience with industry-engaged learning is highly desirable.
