Job Title: Construction Project Lead

Description

KBR, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Lead to manage projects from initiation to completion.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, ensuring resources are available and timelines are feasible.
  • Budgeting and cost management will be key in keeping the project within financial constraints.
  • The Construction Project Lead will also be responsible for contract administration, including negotiation and oversight of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Quality control checks will be conducted to deliver projects that meet all agreed specifications.
  • The role involves leading and motivating a multidisciplinary project team and resolving conflicts.
  • The successful candidate must ensure all legal, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly observed.
  • Regular reporting on project status to executives and other stakeholders will be required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A US or Australian citizen
  • A US TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph or AUS PV Clearance
  • A minimum of five years of experience as a project manager
  • Project management skills such as time management, budgeting, resource management, and scheduling
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or related area
