Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking skilled professionals to fill a laboring position within our civil construction team. This role offers opportunities for growth and development across various projects on the Sunshine Coast.

About the Role:

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing worksites, spotting machinery, concreting, fencing, shovelling/levelling gravels, slinging pipes, reading and interpreting plans, basic power tools and plant operation, and heavy lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure worksite safety by adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  2. Perform manual handling duties, including repetitive tasks involving moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
  3. Operate machinery and equipment as required, following proper operating procedures.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous manual outdoor laboring or civil laboring experience is highly regarded.
  • Willingness to perform manual handling duties, including repetitive tasks involving moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
  • Availability for work Monday to Friday 06:30am - 05:00pm with Saturdays as required.
  • Current driver's licence with reliable transport.
  • Mobile Plant Tickets with demonstrated experience (not essential).
