Lawyers Wanted - Family Law

We are seeking talented and motivated lawyers to join our team in a family law specialist role. As a family lawyer, you will play a critical role in representing clients in family law and family violence matters, providing high-quality legal advice and casework.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Representing clients in various courts and tribunals, including the Magistrates Court, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
  • Managing cases in one or more of our core practice areas, particularly family law and family violence.
  • Engaging in community legal education and law reform projects.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex cases and provide effective legal advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach and a strong commitment to achieving positive outcomes through teamwork.
  • A current Australian practising certificate which entitles you to practise in Victoria as a government legal practitioner (mandatory).
  • Entitlement to practise in federal courts and courts exercising federal jurisdiction (entry on the High Court's Register of Practitioners) (mandatory).
