Job Description

We are seeking experienced professionals to provide mental health support services. This role is perfect for someone with a person-centred approach, who has a genuine passion for improving the quality of life for those with minor and complex mental health needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to an adult requiring assistance within the home involving In Home Care and Community Access. Shifts available include Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

Positions may be available in surrounding suburbs. The successful candidate will work closely with the client to understand their unique circumstances, needs, wants, and goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience and/or academic or professional experience in mental health or a similar field (i.e., Psychology, Nursing, Community Services, Youth Work or Social Work)
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven individual
  • Reliable, kind and caring nature, with good work ethics
  • Patient and understanding
  • Well-presented and a professional approach
  • Ability to positively engage, interact, and work with people who have complex needs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mental health and the issues that are faced

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment

  • Current First Aid (HLTAID011/HLTAID003) & CPR (HLTAID009/HLTAID001)
