Functional Tester

We are seeking a skilled functional tester to aid our development team in performing tests on our mortgage lodgement and processing platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide testing services on allocated tasks within agreed service levels.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives for customer teams.
  • Collaborate with developers to identify test requirements and test cases.
  • Identify priorities for test sequencing.
  • Provide defect feedback.
  • Prepare and deliver test cases, test data, test execution results, defect reports, and test status summaries.
  • Identify opportunities for automated testing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Performance Expectations:

  • Testing services are provided within agreed service levels.
  • Defects identified are well-defined and articulated.
  • Effective relationships are built with customer development teams, enabling collaboration with developers.
  • Opportunities for automated testing are identified.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Experience testing web API services.
  • Experience creating and executing test cases, data, and test scenarios.
  • Prior testing experience, including functional, end-to-end, integration, and regression testing.
  • Understanding of various data exchange formats (XML, JSON).
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience writing basic SQL commands.
