Job Title: Lighting and Control System Designer

We are seeking a skilled Lighting and Control System Designer to join our team at Remote Staff. As a Lighting and Control System Designer, you will be responsible for designing and integrating lighting and control systems for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and integrate lighting and control systems for residential and commercial projects
  • Work with internal teams to deliver top-notch solutions that meet client needs and industry standards
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of engineering principles, especially in low-voltage systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and project management
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, including Lutron Designer and D-Tools System Integrator
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience of at least 1-2 years
  • Understanding of engineering principles, especially in low-voltage systems
  • Experience in 2D design and AutoCAD
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking for system integration
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in design
  • Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Visio
  • Willingness to learn new software tools and adapt to changing technologies
Optional Skills:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with home automation systems
  • Electrical engineering background
  • Experience in construction engineering
