Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team.

About the Role
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain new and used equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Prepare and test pre-delivery inspections of new equipment.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner.
  • Complete and submit relevant paperwork and reports.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues on heavy diesel equipment.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Relevant trade qualification - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
  • Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle/Truck Mechanics encouraged to apply.
  • Earthmoving equipment experience highly regarded.
  • Strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
