We are seeking skilled Telco Riggers and Lead Telco Riggers to support our enterprise client in Queensland on a long-term contract basis.

About the Client:

Our client is a prominent global telecommunications firm, recognized for its contributions to communication technology advancements across more than 175 nations. They are currently engaged in significant upgrades to Wi-Fi networks (4G/5G) and are looking to expand their team with experienced (Lead) Telco Riggers.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the telecommunications network infrastructure and services. Your responsibilities will include the installation, maintenance, and repair of Wi-Fi, microwave, and core network transmission systems. The position may require working in remote locations for extended periods.

This is a full-time contract role with the potential for permanent employment.

Key Duties:

  1. Install, test, and maintain telecommunications systems and equipment.
  2. Lead rigging teams and coordinate project activities (for Lead Riggers).
  3. Ensure adherence to industry standards and safety protocols.
  4. Work collaboratively with supervisors and project managers to meet operational needs.

Qualifications:

  1. Must possess Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
  2. Valid Rigging Certification is required.
  3. Current Australian Driver's License.
  4. Construction White Card is necessary.
  5. Working at Heights Certification is essential.
  6. Experience with RF cables and wireless technologies is preferred.
