Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Deakin ACT. As an Occupational Therapist at IPAR, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop your skills in occupational rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological.
  • Work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Conduct a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline-specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
  • Manage caseloads and provide support to clients to achieve return to health and return to work positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Full Professional Registration with AHPRA.
  • Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded.
  • Fabulous communication skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Compassion and kindness, with empathy and understanding of clients' needs.
  • Well-developed time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • A current valid Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.
