About our school

We are a preschool to Year 12 co-educational institution located in Sydney. Our core belief is that parents hold the responsibility for nurturing their children according to biblical principles. We are therefore committed to partnering with parents in providing Christian education by equipping students to be disciples of Jesus through Christ-centred education.

Our Secondary School is seeking a suitably qualified and committed teacher to fill the full-time role of HSIE KLA Coordinator. This position will involve leading by professional and Biblical example, encouraging staff and students to achieve high standards in learning, Christian service, and relationships. The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher who is growing in their practice and able to lead a team of teachers in providing quality Christ-centred education.

The position involves collaborating closely with the Wellbeing Coordinators and teaching team to create and sustain an enriching learning environment marked by excellence in learning, assessment, evaluation, reporting, fostering positive interpersonal relationships, prioritising student wellbeing, and ensuring discipline.

  • Experience in teaching Stages 4-6 HSIE, including Junior Geography and History, Business Studies, Legal Studies, Studies of Religion, Modern History, and Society and Culture
  • Integrated understanding of the interaction between faith and subject content
  • Experience working in a dynamic educational setting
  • Leadership experience within a faculty
  • Demonstrated skills in programming, instructional leadership, and coaching
