Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Resident Field Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality maintenance and repair of Komatsu customer equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in your work.
You will be responsible for servicing our customers in the West Wyalong / Forbes NSW area, working independently with minimal supervision. Your expertise and experience will enable you to deliver exceptional results, meet deadlines, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Provide expert maintenance and repair services to Komatsu customers.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Liaise effectively with customers, understanding their needs and expectations.
- Cert III or Equivalent in Mobile Plant Mechanics, Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical, Agricultural Mechanical Technology, or Light Vehicle Mechanic.
- Experience working as a Field Service Technician, preferably with exposure to breakdowns, repairs, and diagnostics.
- A Valid driver's Licence and LR, MR, or HR license.
- Auto Electrical experience is desirable, with opportunities for Dual Trade training.
- Safety-focused mindset and ability to follow required job scope and critical path.
- Good understanding of computer systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work unsupervised and prioritize tasks effectively.

Komatsu offers a competitive remuneration package, including a base rate between $47.81 - $49.23 per hour, plus a resident allowance, tool of trade vehicle, and overtime pay. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including:
