About the Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced retail professional to fill a Store Management role in Wollongong. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving store success through effective leadership and management of daily operations, sales strategies, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, visual merchandising, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of retail professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive store revenue growth, while ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Maintain close communication with regional headquarters and other relevant business departments to ensure seamless store operations and alignment with company goals.
  • Select and evaluate the performance of team members, providing guidance and opportunities for career advancement.
  • Effectively handle store emergencies, taking necessary actions to ensure safe and efficient store management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail store operations management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, sales forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and acumen to drive store sales and provide high standards of customer service.
