Job Title: Senior Design Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Adelaide, Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the design and delivery of large-scale water and defence projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver early-stage detailed designs for water and defence projects.
  • Develop and implement project management plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or architecture.
  • Extensive experience in infrastructure engineering and design, with a focus on water and defence projects.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects.
  • Strong project management skills, including cost, schedule, risk, and change management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong scope awareness and ability to manage complex project environments.
  • Eligibility for Defence Security Clearance is highly desirable.
