Conveyor Maintenance Specialists

Allstar Recruitment Group is seeking experienced Belt Splicers / Conveyor Technicians for Shutdown work in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform belt splicing, repairs, maintenance, and installations on various types of belts, including steel cord, fabric, solid woven, and ply belts.
- Contribute to the company's safety policies and procedures.
- Carry out hot and cold repairs, pulley lagging, and mechanical clip applications.
- Identify common belt damage and faults, and determine the most effective method of repair.
- Conduct regular belt audits to ensure optimal performance.
- Good knowledge of all forms of belt splicing and installations.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the industry.
- Extensive experience working with steel cord belts.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Previous experience working on site, with a focus on industrial settings.
- BHP, RIO, or FMG inductions are not essential, but preferred.
- Working at heights and confined spaces experience is not required, but beneficial.
