Structural Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and certified RPEQ structural engineer to join our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review high-quality structural designs in accordance with Australian Standards and client specifications.
  • Lead small project teams through cost estimation, scope development, and technical delivery to meet project targets.
  • Conduct site visits to support audits, commissioning, and compliance across heavy industry operations.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to junior engineers within the structural team.
  • Contribute to business development by engaging with clients, identifying project opportunities, and supporting proposal development.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and uphold the organization's reputation as a trusted engineering partner.
  • Accurately track time, goals, and reporting deliverables, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Structural)
  • RPEQ certification
  • At least 7 years of civil/structural engineering experience, including site-based work
  • Experience with structural analysis tools (e.g. SpaceGass, Strand7) is highly regarded
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Previous team leadership or coaching experience is desirable
