About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our Novotel & ibis Sydney Darling Harbour properties. As the successful candidate, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, profitability, and employee engagement in one of Australia's most iconic locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader with a proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and delivering outstanding financial results. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, implementing innovative initiatives, and upholding the Novotel and ibis brand standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and inspiring a team of hospitality professionals, fostering their individual growth and contributing to the business's overall success.
  • Developing and executing strategic plans aimed at boosting revenue, streamlining operations, and elevating the guest experience.
  • Providing support to all departments to ensure the attainment of operational targets and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Overseeing marketing and sales initiatives to optimise occupancy rates and revenue generation.
  • Championing employee engagement initiatives, nurturing a collaborative and inclusive environment for all our Heartists to thrive.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in hotel general management is required.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing hotel operations and delivering outstanding financial results.
  • Demonstrated success in driving the commercial performance of the business and delivering on KPIs.
  • Possession of exceptional leadership skills, a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences, and a strong business acumen.
  • A qualification in hotel management, hospitality management, commerce, or business administration would be highly regarded.
