About the Role:
In this critical position, you will oversee control room operations, monitor CCTV feeds, and communicate effectively with security personnel to address security breaches, alarms, and other incidents at Melbourne Olympic Parks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze CCTV footage for security issues
- Communicate promptly with security personnel regarding incidents
- Ensure adherence to security protocols and procedures
- Maintain detailed records of events and incidents
- Respond swiftly to alarms and emergencies, making informed decisions
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of Control Room or Monitoring Station experience
- Valid Victorian Security Licence with Control Room Endorsement
- Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Current driver's licence
- Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain)
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Comprehensive report writing skills
- Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including shifts
Salary:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 AUD, depending on experience.
