Job Title: Senior Traffic Engineer

Job Summary:
Greater Shepparton City Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Traffic Engineer to join their Engineering and Assets Department. The successful candidate will provide expert technical advice on road traffic, public transport management, road safety, and park infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide council-wide expert technical advice on road traffic and public transport management
Lead the Council's Mobility and Road Safety Strategy and safety and accessibility programs
Ensure council infrastructure and road design complies with statutory traffic rules, design standards, and guidelines
Mentor and train council staff on traffic engineering design, road safety, and parking infrastructure

Requirements:
Extensive experience in civil engineering
Degree in Civil Engineering with Professional Engineers Registration
Effective communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
