Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at Karingal Green Aged Care Facility. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients' clothing and linen are clean, hygienic and in good condition.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a laundry environment, possess excellent time management skills, be flexible and willing to work varying shifts including weekends and public holidays. You will also require the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  1. Have experience in manual tasks and demonstrated competency
  2. Be able to work as part of a team
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with consumers, staff and other stakeholders
  4. Hold a current National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain
  5. Hold a current NDIS Screening or willingness to obtain
  6. Hold a current Influenza and full COVID19 Vaccinations or willingness to obtain
  7. Hold Full work rights in Australia
