A unique opportunity exists to contribute to an expanding underground mine with a supportive team and long-term focus.

The Role

This is an opportunity for an Underground Project Geologist to develop grade control procedures, generate drilling programs, and implement extension and exploration programs. You will work closely with the Senior Mine Geologist and Geology Superintendent to ensure geological activities are well-managed.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing grade control procedures
  • Generating, designing, and implementing grade control drilling programs
  • Developing and maintaining geological interpretations of the ore system
  • Supervising mine and junior geologists in data collection and analysis
  • Mentoring mine geologists as required

Skills & Qualifications

We seek individuals with a degree in geology or a relevant field, along with demonstrated leadership experience within an underground mine environment. Strong report writing skills and understanding of Surpac and Leapfrog are essential.

In senior roles, we consider candidates with significant experience in Underground Project management, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
