We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an occupational therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting rehabilitation and return-to-work outcomes within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities:- Caseload management with Rehabilitation Assistants' support
- Application of clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
- Development and implementation of injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees
- Collaboration with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals
- Conducting assessments such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
- Delivery of the virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Professional Registration with relevant authority or eligibility to apply
- Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Compassion, kindness, and empathy
- Strong time management skills
- Valid Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
