We are seeking experienced Social Workers to fill long-term vacancies in our crisis and therapeutic setting. Based in gorgeous Northern NSW, close to Byron Bay and the Gold Coast, you will have the opportunity to work with children and adults who have experienced sexual assault.

This role offers flexible hours, Monday to Friday, with on-call shifts. The Lismore position is permanent, while the Tweed role is a maternity leave contract until further notice.

The successful candidate will possess experience in crisis response, counselling, child protection, or a relevant specialty. As a Qualified Social Worker eligible for membership with the AASW, you will be responsible for:

• Crisis response: attending hospital with patients, coordination, patient consent, psychoeducation, emotional and physical response, referrals to ongoing support
• Intake phone referrals
• Short-term counselling
• Referrals to victim services
• Outreach to schools

You will receive comprehensive training and be expected to meet the requirements of a Level 2 or 3 clinician. Salary range from $88,379 - $112,114 + superannuation depending on experience.

Accommodation subsidies of up to $300 per week may be available for the first 12 weeks for relocating candidates.
