Position Overview

As a Registered Nurse in our esteemed facility, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care within the General Medical & Surgical department. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of clinical and administrative tasks that are essential for the smooth operation of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough patient triage and evaluations to determine immediate care needs.
  • Wound Care: Manage and treat wounds with precision and care.
  • Minor Surgical Procedures: Assist in minor procedures such as cyst removals and iron infusions.
  • Chronic Disease Management: Oversee care plans and health assessments for patients with chronic conditions.
  • Immunization: Administer vaccinations, including Covid-19 vaccines, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Cold Chain Management: Maintain the integrity of vaccines and medications requiring temperature control.
  • Pre-Employment Medical Assessments: Conduct medical checks for new hires to ensure fitness for duty.
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Perform ECGs, spirometry tests, and APBI assessments.
  • Patient Follow-Up: Manage recalls and reminders to ensure continuity of care.

The ideal candidate will possess a current AHPRA registration and have full-time work rights in Australia. Previous experience in a clinical environment is essential. We are looking for a dedicated team player who is self-motivated and eager to contribute to our patient-centered approach.

This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, allowing you to collaborate with both General Practitioners and Specialists, enhancing your professional development in a supportive environment.
