Job Title

A dynamic position has become available for an experienced teacher to join our team in a supportive learning environment.

  • We are seeking a qualified TAS teacher to inspire students in the practical and creative disciplines of Technology and Design.

The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative and innovative learning environment, fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and design skills in our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Technology Mandatory (Stage 4) and Stage 5 & 6 Design and Technology
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based lessons that foster curiosity and innovation
  • Collaborate with a passionate team of educators to design and implement cutting-edge STEM initiatives
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
  • Be open to using and learning to use innovative technologies
Requirements

We are looking for a dedicated educator who:

  • Has the ability to teach Technology Mandatory and Stage 5 and 6 Design and Technology
  • Is NESA accredited with relevant teaching qualifications and subject expertise
  • Is confident teaching the NSW Curriculum, experience with Cambridge or HSC will be highly regarded
  • Creates engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to different learning needs
  • Confidently uses digital tools, integrating a variety of computing, digital design, and programming applications to enhance curriculum delivery and align with contemporary technological practices
  • Strong knowledge of learning technologies and their impact on student outcomes
  • Builds strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Works well in collaborative teaching environments and contributes to school life
  • Well-organised, meets deadlines, and maintains high professional standards
