  • Planning and Strategy

    • Establish processes to maintain alignment between IT and business planning.
    • Develop and maintain architectural artifacts that describe current and future technology state.
  • Technology Governance
    • Advise operational teams on technology lifecycle refresh and ensure alignment with emerging trends.
    • Champion technology governance and ensure adherence to standards and approval requirements.
    • Develop and maintain technology roadmaps, standards, and frameworks to guide stakeholders.
    • Identify, manage, and mitigate IT-related risks that impact business activities.
  • Solutions Architecture
    • Lead a high-performing team of Solution Architects and provide guidance on architecture services.
    • Establish vendor relationships to complement in-house skills.
    • Develop and maintain processes, templates, and systems to ensure high-quality outcomes.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to Solution Architects to develop and mature their capabilities.
  • Support Projects and Operations
    • Collaborate with IT managers to ensure compliance with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and standards.
    • Ensure Solution Architecture resources are available for project and operations activities.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills and Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
    • 10-15 years of IT and business/industry work experience, including architecture design and deployment.
    • Practitioner certification in TOGAF or equivalent.
    • Demonstrable experience working as an enterprise architect in a complex organization.
