Leadership Opportunity in Early Childhood Education

As a highly skilled and experienced leader, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our centre. You will work closely with the Centre Director to ensure the smooth running of the centre and provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to educators.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality educational outcomes and fostering a positive, supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to educators, promoting professional growth and excellence in teaching practices.
  • Lead and support room teams as a Team Leader, fostering strong relationships with children, families, and staff.
  • Float across various rooms to offer leadership and drive consistency in daily operations.
  • Engage in non-contact time to focus on centre management tasks, including rostering, team development, and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within early childhood education.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities with a focus on building strong teams.
