Job Title: Media Software Product Owner

This role involves setting the strategic direction and driving execution for our media-processing platform. You will work closely with various teams to translate real-time IP-broadcasting challenges into a prioritized backlog of features and user stories.

  • Develop and communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for creating, prioritizing, and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Product Management and the development team.
  • Provide technical direction and ensure the team understands the technical implementations of their work.
  • Work closely with the Scrum Master and development team to ensure successful sprint planning and execution.
  • Define and manage product release plans according to industry standards.
  • Monitor product performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics.

Required skills include:

  • 3+ years experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a software environment, ideally with API-first and front-end components.
  • Familiarity with broadcast/IP-based media workflows and SDN concepts is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with microservices architectures, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Comfortable reading and writing OpenAPI/Swagger definitions and basic front-end mockups.
  • Understanding of broadcast-grade orchestration requirements—device discovery, flow configuration, and real-time monitoring is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record running Scrum or Kanban teams—skilled at backlog grooming, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication—able to translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements and presentations.
