Empowering Support Specialist


Job Description:

Make a difference in the lives of others as an Empowering Support Specialist. This vital role empowers individuals with mental health conditions and neurodivergent traits to unlock their full potential.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 or group support in daily activities, assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.

Key responsibilities include promoting independence and community engagement through social outings, advocating for the rights and well-being of those supported, and building meaningful relationships and creating a nurturing environment.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • Experience supporting clients with mental health conditions or disabilities
  • A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services is preferred
  • Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
  • Current WWCC and NDIS Screening
  • Police Check
  • First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate
  • Fluency in English
