Geotechnical Driller Position

Macquarie Geotechnical is a leading provider of geotechnical consulting and drilling services. We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Driller to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the leadership team with geotechnical investigations, including solid and hollow flight augering, rotary mud and air drilling, sonic drilling, wireline and conventional diamond coring. They will also be responsible for general maintenance, daily reporting, and operating drills and equipment safely.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with geotechnical investigations and drilling operations
• Performing general maintenance and daily reporting
• Operating drills and equipment safely and efficiently
• Providing training and guidance to drill teams
• Problem-solving non-routine downhole and surface issues

Requirements for the Geotechnical Driller position include:

• Previous experience as a driller
• Ability to work away when required
• Ability to obtain a minimum HR truck license
• Cert III in Drilling or industry equivalent (desirable)
• NSW Class 1 or greater, water well license (desirable)
• Current First Aid Certificate (preferred)
• NSW White Card
• Current and valid RISI (preferred)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of D&A test
• Ability to obtain a Police Clearance upon request

Salary Range $70,000 - $75,000
