Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled delivery professional to join our operations team in Townsville, QLD.

This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to work behind the scenes to maintain smooth, efficient and safe operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering stock to customers in the Rockhampton area and surrounds, working with a time-sensitive delivery schedule to meet customer demands.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Delivering stock to all customers as per set runs in a timely manner
  • Maintaining a regular service frequency to your entire customer base
  • Ensuring all safety checks are completed daily
  • Accounting for all money and stock movements on a daily basis
  • Replacement of warranty claims as per the Stock on Hand Policy.

Requirements

  • Experience in a warehouse distribution environment
  • Highly trustworthy and reliable individual with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build customer relationships
  • Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting batteries with an average weight of 17kg
  • Current forklift (LF or LO) licence and valid driver's licence
  • Good computer skills and close attention to detail
  • Commitment to upholding Health, Safety and Environment standards
  • Good basic English and writing skills
