We are seeking a skilled Social Justice / Outreach Support Worker to join our team, working collaboratively with the Director of Faith & Mission to develop and implement programmes related to social justice / outreach. This role will involve coordinating the Community Companion Food and Outreach trailer, maintaining staff volunteers, and raising awareness of supported organisations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and organising the Community Companion Food and Outreach trailer.
  • Maintaining adequate staff volunteers and completing rosters for each term and school holidays for the Companion trailer.
  • Developing awareness of the work and needs of organisations supported under the Social Justice / Outreach Policy.
  • Connecting social justice initiatives at the College with Catholic Social Teaching and the mission of Catholic schools with staff, students, and the broader community.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for social justice, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
