The Role

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team in Acacia Ridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles, moving freight to and from storage areas, and stabilizing equipment as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Moving freight to and from storage areas using a forklift
  • Loading trucks in accordance with the load sheet
  • Stabilizing equipment as required
  • Setting and checking fridge motor temperatures prior to vehicle departure
  • Loading dry, fresh, refrigerated, and frozen freight onto trailers for distribution

Requirements

  • Valid forklift licence and experience in this class
  • Warehouse and pick, packing, and stocktaking experience
  • Experience loading and unloading trucks
  • Refrigeration experience (preferred)
  • Reliable and punctual with good communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to transport documentation

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift heavy loads and work in a warehouse setting.
