We are seeking an exceptional **HSEQ Professional** to join our team as a Safety and Quality Leader. This key leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality strategies in support of our overall business plan and strategic direction.

**Key Accountabilities:**

  • Develop and Implement HSE Strategies: Continuously develop, implement, assess, and review health and safety, environment, and quality management plans and strategies, policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Identify Areas for Improvement: Identify areas for improvement, prioritize actions, develop necessary documents, systems, and programs, and provide training to operational teams.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Report on all safety-related metrics and write professional correspondence to regulatory agents and senior management as required.
  • Total Quality Management Systems: Lead compliance with and continuous improvement of Kinetic's Total Quality Management Systems, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and controls are in place to manage risk.
  • Incident and Risk Management: Drive incident & risk management processes through coaching and support to ensure timely reporting, recording, investigation, closing of corrective actions, and sharing of learnings within the group.
  • Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with Training and Development teams to create, develop, and conduct workshops for safety program topics such as incident analysis/prevention, safety policies/procedures, regulatory compliance, safety training as required by law.

**What You Will Bring:**

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or substantial relevant experience.
  • Experience as a HSEQ leader with proven experience in senior roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of legislation relevant to port/rail operations.
  • Experience working with management systems – in particular AS/NZS4801, ISO14001, and ISO9001.
  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Be highly articulate with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Integrity and Continuous Improvement Mindset: Strong integrity with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and agile environment.
  • Self-Motivated and Enthusiastic: Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations and positive approach to a continually changing work environment.
  • Strong Computer Literacy: Strong computer literacy, MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Internal systems.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
