About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinician to lead our Eating Disorders Program at Healthscope. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality evidence-based therapy programs for clients with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and lead the inpatient therapy program, including organizing group timetables and staff scheduling.
  • Conduct evidence-based therapy groups for clients in the program.
  • Contribute to the general inpatient program with the TMC inpatient coordinators, Allied Health Manager, and Director of Allied Health.
  • Develop, complete, and facilitate quality improvement projects in the eating disorders program.
  • Supervise Grade 1 and 2 staff, as required, and supervise students of your discipline.
Requirements
  • Qualification in an allied health profession, e.g. Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Psychology (mental health nurses with specialist skills in eating disorders will also be considered).
  • Registration with AHPRA for your profession, or eligibility for membership with AASW for Social Workers.
  • Specialist training/credentialing in Eating Disorders (preferred).
  • Four years + experience as a health professional.
  • Experience as a supervisor (preferred).
  • Well-developed leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience with group therapy (preferred).
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of ethical practice.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
