Academic Leader

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our vibrant community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing teaching programs, developing content knowledge and pedagogical practice, and demonstrating a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development.

This part-time position requires a dedicated individual who is comfortable sharing their faith and has high expectations for student academic outcomes.

• Plan and implement teaching programs or courses of study;
• Develop content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students;
• Demonstrate commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development;

This role involves working closely with staff, students, and parents to create a child-safe environment and promote academic excellence.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a committed Christian, have excellent organisational skills, and be able to communicate effectively with parents.

You will also require:

• Evidence of the right to work in Australia;
• Proof of identity;
• Recognised teaching qualification;
• Clearance status of the Working with Children Check (where applicable);
• Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT);
• Statements of service from previous child-connected roles;
• References from previous child-connected roles;
