We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Ability Action Australia. About the Role:

This is a clinical development opportunity for an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about delivering high-quality support services to individuals with physical disabilities, psychosocial disabilities, or mental health concerns. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to promote participant independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that address participants' goals and needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in training and supervision to maintain clinical skills and knowledge
  • Engage in peer group supervision and contribute to the development of best practices within the team

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
