We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Transport Officer to join our team in Bendigo. As a Patient Transport Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and interventions on-road
- Provide high-quality patient care and treatment during on-road transport
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
- Assess the effectiveness of any intervention in accordance with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations
- Perform independently and problem-solve within established policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other team members
- Qualified as a Patient Transport Officer (PTO) with a minimum of a Cert III in Non-Emergency Patient Care
- Experience working in the NEPT sector is desirable but not essential
- Hold a FULL Victorian Driver's licence and have the ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
- Availability to work shifts across a 24/7 roster
