Lead Painter

Job Opportunity:

A skilled and experienced Painter is sought after for a full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various façade building repairs and installations, including preparing surfaces, removing redundant paint, and selecting and applying paint coatings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare work areas for painting
• Select and prepare paint for application
• Apply paint using a variety of tools
• Clean tools and work areas
• Quote new business façade remediation services
• Develop key relationships with suppliers, building managers, subcontractors, clients and engineers
• Coordinate with engineers in relation to work methods and approvals of work complete
• Ensure adherence to Health Safety regulations
• Schedule regular maintenance for tools and equipment

Requirements:

• Possession of relevant Certificate III qualification, and/or relevant employment experience
• Current IRATA licence is essential to this role
• Ability to manage staff skills effectively
• Ability to prioritise workload arising from a broader user base
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Ability to adapt to a multi-cultural and multi-national environment
