Housekeeping Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Attendant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain hotel rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
  • Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and lounges
  • Restock and replenish housekeeping supplies, including soap, shampoo, and towels
  • Report any damages or issues to the Executive Housekeeper or Maintenance Team
  • Participate in regular housekeeping meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience in a housekeeping or related role (previous training or education an advantage)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
