Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile fleet and other equipment in accordance with industry standards.

  • Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, repairs and breakdown services on a range of mobile equipment.
  • Utilize technical documentation and reference materials to source information and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
About You
  • Applicants should possess a trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years post-trade experience is required.
  • At least 2 years' experience in the mining sector is necessary, preferably with leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Experience with general maintenance, breakdowns and component change outs on CAT and Hitachi mobile equipment is essential.
  • Knowledge of vehicle air conditioning systems is desirable, as is possession of an HR driver's license.
  • High Risk Fork Lift and Dogging tickets are advantageous.
  • Commitment to health and safety is paramount in this role.
